Healthy Face Skin Tips For Men

Eflianda Tips - When it comes to skin care, men traditionally keep it simple. However, more men are now pursuing younger and younger looking skin.

To help men develop healthy skincare routines, dermatologists recommend the following tips:

Before developing your skin care routine,Recognize your skin type:
  • Sensitive skin may be stung or burned after the use of certain products.
  • Normal skin is clear and insensitive.
  • Dry skin is peeling, itchy or rough.
  • Oily skin is shiny and oily.
  • Dry combination skin in some areas and oily in others.

Understanding your skin type will help you learn how to care for your skin and choose the right skin care product for you.

Consider product labels and materials.
The skin care product you choose will depend on your skin type. If you have acne prone skin, look for cleansers and moisturizers that say "oil free" or "non-comedogenic," as this will not clog your pores.

If you have sensitive skin, use light and fragrance-free products. Products that contain fragrances can make skin feel irritated and dry. You should also be wary of products labeled "unscented", as they contain many fragrances of masking that can still irritate your skin.

Wash your face every day and after exercise. Use a mild cleanser to wash your face. Because regular bar soaps often contain tough ingredients that can dry the skin, wash your face with a mild and lukewarm facial cleanser - not hot water.

For some men, a multi-blade razor can work well, or shave too close to your skin. If you often experience razor scissors, razor burns, or hair that grows in, use a one or two knife razors instead and do not stretch your skin while shaving. Before shaving, wet your skin and hair to soften it.
Use shaving cream and shaving cream towards hair growth. Rinse each razor swipe, and replace your knife after five to seven shavings to minimize irritation.
